Lilly laughed as he hung over the cliff, though hoped he wouldn't fall. Laying her head down her eyes closed without her even know it and she fell into a light nap. The large male had filled her up and made her sleepy and she dozed letting the sun shine down on her.

He smiled, watching her sleep. Then, getting up quietly so not to wake her up, he ran the ramp down to the little cave that was under the cliff. He had found it when hunting the buck, and had found it a good place to lay down. Kaine sat down at the entrance, and watched the sun slowly set.

As the sun set and darkness fell and chill set over Lilly and her shiver woke her up. Looking around she knew it was dark and figured the Kaine went to sleep. She stood and ran up into the cave where she had slept the night before. Curling up in the back, she layed back down and wraped her tail around her to keep warm. She fell back to sleep quickly and dreamed of Kaine this time instead of Aart which she found rather strange.

Kaine stretched and yawned, finally standing up. Running back to his cave, he stopped by Lilly's for a second to make sure she was sleeping and well. She had a peaceful smile on her face, and not whimpering like last night. Smiling, he trotted to his cave and fell asleep quickly, content because Lilly was.

Lilly woke the next morning feeling much better. Her strength had returned and she was newly energized. Standing she streaching and shook in her morning ritual and then trotted from the den. Her first stop was the small water pond and she quenched her nightime thirst there. Yawning, she looked to the rising sun and smiled, giving a playful howl to the wind.

A howl interupted his dreams, and he yawned, blearly looking about. The sun was already up, and he guessed that Lilly was awake. He stood, stretched, and trotted out, squinting in the sun. After his eyes had adjusted, he howled softly, but still playfully, back to her.

Lilly was surprised by the reply. She barked back. "Sorry to wake you." she said softly. She was panting a little from the excitement of feeling better. Taking a deep breath, she sighed looking about the land once more getting a feel for it.

He smiled, trotting over to her. "No problem, I would have waken up soon anyways.", he said, laughing a little. "It seems like it's always a nice day here, doesn't it?" he asked, seeing that, for the third day in a row, it was spectacular.

"Yeah, I hope it stays like this all the time." she smiled as he trotted towards her. The sun shining down on the grey lack rocks made it looks so bright and shiny. As she spoke though she realized it sounded like she would be here to see it shine all the time. Did she really mean it? Lilly blushed a little at her thoughts but it faded quickly. "Did you sleep good?"

He grinned. It was great to see her blush. "Great, thanks for asking. You?", he asked, as the herd of deer came out of the coven he was in last night.

"I slept good, better than last night." She smiled as he did and noticed the herd of deer moving out to graze for the day. She wasn't really hungry but peaked down at them anyway.

"That's good, you're looking better, too.", he replied, grinning again. She actually did. Her coat shone and didn't seem so matted, and there was a glean to her eyes he hadn't noticed before. The deer were moving their way at a leisurely pace, stopping here and there to graze at a tuft of grass. He wasn't particularly hungry after yesterday's meal, but it was nice to watch them.

Lilly watched his expressions and reactions to the deer and saw he was making no move to bother them. So she layed down lazily and watched them as they made their way out to the open land to graze. She smiled seeing a young fawn jump and frolic playing around with the herd.

He fidgeted, unused to laying still so long. The fawn pricked its ears towards them curiously, staring at them for a few seconds. Kaine stiffened, waiting for the youngling to look away. When it finally did, he smiled.

Lilly tensed as he stared the fawn down. She would never kill something so young for food. It deserved a chance a life too. She could sense he was uncomfortable laying here so still, so she sat up. "Why don't you show me around you land?" she asked hoping to make him feel better by getting him up and moving.
