He jumped up, his size startling the herd of deer. "Sounds good!", he replied, and set off at a trot, savoring the feeling of stretching his legs once again. He slowed down for Lilly to catch up, then headed off toward the river he had found the other day.

She shook her head at his excitement. Forceing herself to her feet, she trotted after him not wanting to slow pace. Laughing a little she found him a funny companion that was nice to be around. Catching up to him she was silent letting him comment if he wanted to. |

He grinned wolfishly. "I know I look like a mature wolf, but I'm really just a pup at heart on some things, if you haven't noticed." laughing, he led her over some logs and rocks, finally getting to the stream. He jumped in it, splashing Lilly in the process. It's freezing! he thought, but he knew that, after he got to moving around, Kaine would warm up. He turned around, smiling, watching Lilly's reaction.

Lilly smiled and followed close behind him thoughtfully. She could tell he liked to have fun but that didn't bother her. If fact she found it very charming. As the water rained down on her she just grinned at first, but then it started to slip through her coat down to her skin and she shook with a shiver. "Are you crazy?" she asked sneezing. "That waters freezing cold." She shook her head laughing watching him swim around. Sitting by the back on the stream, she watched with much intrest. |

He was shivering too, but he still laughed, his teeth jittery. "Once I start moving around, I'll be fine.", he said, and started his fight once again against the stream. With his muscles frozen, he couldn't do much, so soon he jumped out of the stream, walked a ways away from Lilly so she wouldn't get wet, and shook himself, drying out his coat. "I see what you mean about it being cold.", he laughed, and sat next to her again.

She pawed at him playfully. "I'm glad you figured that out on your own." She smiled her eyes sparkling a little. "I wouldn't want you to get sick you know." Her tail wagged slowly as he came to sit next to her. |

He growled playfully, but still wagging his tail. "Likewise.", he said in a softer tone.

She smiled pawing at his side softly. Her tail was still wagging and she grinned when he growled at her. A strange feeling came over her and it just made her want to pounce on him and run and play. She didn't know what it was and didn't know if she should trust it but it was sure strong. |

He batted her paw away with one of his, playfully nipping at her ear. He had a grin on his face, remembering the times when he was playing with his brothers. This reminded of those times, and he yipped at her for no good reason.

Lilly found herself in a playing mood. She growled and hoped at him. Placing her front feet on his chest, she pushed lightly on him, nipping at his muzzle. Standing over him she smiled and then licked his nose gently with a small smile. |

Underfoot, he growled playfully, squirming loose out of her hold. Then, pushing himself up, he smacked the ground with his front paws, his tail held high in the air, wagging ferociously. He laughed as he did so.

She pawed at his face as he growled at her. The mimiked him bowing and waggin her tail laughing too. She sat then thinking about what just went on. "This is fun." she said then slowly knowing she hadn't really played since she was a young pup. |

Kaine laughed, sitting down next to her. "My brothers and I used to do that a lot, when we were pups.", he explained. From the way Lilly said it, it sounded like she hadn't done anything fun in a while.

She smiled, and looked catiously at him. She was panting lightly but was happy. "Your childhood sounds so fun." she sommented trying to remember her own. It just seemed she had pushed that time out of her mind. |

Kaine laughed. "It was, but we were considered a 'normal family' where we lived, which was in the hillsides of mountains, away from most other packs. What about yours?", he asked, perking his ears up.
