Kaine in search

[Lexi]

Lilly slept soundly letting her body recover fron it's travels. Her dreams were filled with her past though. Aart and his monsterous gang. She shivered in fear but never woke, her body to tired to react to the nightmeres.

[Boshia]

Kaine sighed happily, then closed his eyes, willing sleep to come. Almost instantly, happy memories of his puppyhood invaded his dreams, making him smile and his legs twitch as he ran after his brothers.

[Lexi]

Lilly's head flung up finally as she recalled her dreams. A silent whine escaped her lips and she looked around. Everything from before came back to her. The male who offered her some rest and her long travel. She sighed and struggled to her feet, looking around. She didn't see the male and walking to the cave she was silent incase he was nearby. Following her nose, she searched out some water and took a long much needed drink.

[Boshia]

He stirred as he heard a soft padding of paws. She was awake already? Jumping up, as always, he bounded out, to see her at the water pool. "Hello! Good morning, hope you slept fine.", he called out.

[Lexi]

She jumped at the sound of his voice and cringed but quickly controlled herself, relaxing. "Yes, thank you." she said turning to face him. "I slept ok."

[Boshia]

He grinned."Great to hear, I slept fine. Are you hungry?", he asked. Kaine sat down and too, took a long draught from the puddle, the mud at the very bottom swirling about as his tongue flicked out. He studied his reflection as he awaited her answer.

[Lexi]

"I guess." she said unsure. "I'd hate for you to go through any trouble for me." She sat down facing him as he took a drink. Lifting a paw, she licked it thoughtfully as things swam around in her head. The pads of her feet were still sore from running but she'd get over it.

[Boshia]

He shrugged. "Honestly, it's no problem. I find it very easy to hunt, it'd be easy to get enough food. Besides, you must still be tired from your journey, right?", He pointed out. Kaine saw her glance at her paws, and smiled. "Just rest, it's fine. You can stay here as long as you want.", he added in a matter-of-fact tone, though in his heart, he longed for company, and Lilly's was better than any others' he had had before, for some reason.

[Lexi]

Lilly nodded with a grin. "If you insist." she said lowering her sore body to the ground. She sighed wondering what he'd come back with. She hated to be a burden and living off his but she was hungry and it he offered why not?

[Boshia]

The wolf laughed. "Okay, be back then in a few." He turned around, and, racing himself, ran off down the slate of rock. Right under, where the cliff overhang, was a great herd of deer. He was going for the big buck. His prey was tossing its head, whites of the eyes already showing, and the nostrils already wide with fear. Grinning, he slunk in the shadows, and, as silent as a wolf could that was his size, attacked the animal. It wasn't much of a fight. In seconds, his teeth had found their way to the neck of the struggling buck, and with a gentle snap, it lay still and limp. He dragged it back up the short incline, bringing it to Lilly. After ripping off a leg, he moved aside for the female. "See, no problem."

[Lexi]

She laughed a little. "Yeah, I see." Smiling she moved closer, catiously. Crouching, she ripped the flesh from the side of the deer and gorged herself. Taking huge mouthfuls she let her stomach fill itself as far as it wanted too. Lilly slowed afted awhile, feeling herself getting full. Shaking her head she debated whether to eat more or not. Sitting up straight, she sighed and licked a paw still trying to make up her mind.

[Boshia]

Kaine ripped off the flesh of the carcass energetically, and in minutes he had gotten done with all of his portion. He laughed, though not unkindly, seeing Lilly debate. "I could help you with that, if you're having doubts." he grinned.

[Lexi]

She grinned. "It's ok I think i'm full." She said the words slowly having to almost force them out. Sighed she layed down with a grunt and streached out to digest her meal. She felt so big she didn't really want to move all that much, so she lay there silently, waiting for the feeling to pass.

[Boshia]

He laughed. "Okay, then. I think I'll go run around for a while, I could stretch my legs. I'm guessing you'll stay here?" he asked, then jumped up, wagging his tail in anticipation of what the day would bring.

[Lexi]

"Yes I'd would like to stay here." she said watching his tail wag as he jumped up. She smiled at him and waited for his departure as she cleaned her paws and mouth. Looking towards the caves and then slowly around her.
