She scratched her side with her foot, and walked on. Seeing the Kaine's stream, she shook her head again looking at it. "Oh, Fine." she stated under her breath. Submersising herself into the water she caught her breath at the coldness of it. She didn't stay in it long and emerged soaking and freezing. Shaking off she lay in the grass to dry as the sun just barely crossed above the horizen. |

The sun hit Kaine's face directly, and he blinked sleepily, yawning. He noticed that Lilly wasn't there, and he figured that she'd probably gone off walking somewhere. Stretching, he sauntered outside to the stream, not seeing her at her custom puddle. After a few minutes that seemed an hour, he got there. Lilly was sunning herself, apparentally gotten into the stream. He laughed. "Wasn't that bad now, was it?", chuckling, he nuzzled his face against hers, then went to go get a drink, his tongue picking up cold, refreshing water.

Lilly shook her head. "I needed the cold to wake me up I guess." She said returning the nuzzle when he did. Her eyes wondered away from him and then returning. She stood and wagged her tail beating the scent towards him. As she stopped next to him she rubbed against his side, the urge in her harder and harder to control. She cursed herself and wagged her tail some more beating him with it. |

Kaine's eyes widened at how strong the scent was, and he nuzzled her more, it getting harder to resist her. "Ah, but it still woke you up, right?", he grinned, licking her face. Kaine's tail was wagging pretty fast now, the sun rising higher.

She shuddered at the touch of his tounge. "Yeah, it did." she said blinking her eyes speaking almost beathlessly. She lowered her head shaking it and leaned into him. Snorting she turned and walked away her back to him trying to think this through. "It was too cold to stay in the water though." |

"That's good. I should probably go in.....", he mused. For a second. Then, jumping in with a splash that would have made the fattest wolf alive proud, he was completely immersed and surrounded by cold water. He loved the feel of the chill in his bones that had settled in, and it helped him clear his mind, so Lilly's scent wasn't so irresistable. But, he knew he had to get some air, so he popped up, panting. The water had decided that he had had enough water restistance for the day, and he started to feel the chill as a numbing. Groaning, he climped out, shaking out his fur and laying down in the grass, rolling around.

She walked to him and layed down next to him rolling to her back. "You really like me around here?" she asked wondering his feelings about her. Her head on the grass propped up on her chin, she looked at him. A shiver rose through her spine and she rolled her eyes. Her tail thudded against the ground. |

Kaine stared at her. "Of course I do! If you hadn't decided to stay, I probably wouldn't stay either. I would try to find you again, to beg you to come back," he replied. It was true. He found her a good companion, and more. She was attractive in both personality and looks. He had fallen in love with her, though he wasn't going to say it out loud. Kaine wagged his tail, still on his back.

She smiled feeling wanted again in her life. It had been so long since she'd felt someone love her. "You don't know how much that means to me." she said scooting closer to him. She licked his muzzle and smiled her tail still wagging furiously. |

"You don't know how much you mean to me,"he replied softly, licking her in return, twice. Kaine's tail was wagging to a rhythm matching Lilly's, he realized. It was nice to have someone to love, after a while of traveling.

She smiled seductively. "I'm happy to here that you really do love me." Licking him again she laughed. "What do you see in our future?" she asked standing up and wagging her tail thowing the scent at him again. This time purposefully. |

Kaine grinned even wider. "Right now, all I can see is you. Zoned on you.", he replied truthfully, standing up, getting closer to her. Lilly's scent was strong and piercing in his nose.

She stopped and dropped her tail between her legs. "In our FUTURE." she repeated again hoping for a certain answer. She didn't want to jump into anything that wasn't wanted or prepared for. She almost sat down but kept standing though her tail didn't wag at the moment. |

Kaine hesitated. He knew what he wanted, he didn't know if she would approve of it. "Well...I always thought I would have sort of a...a family, you know? And now that I've found the perfect wolf I want to spend the rest of my days with.....", he trailed off, wondering if he said too much. Kaine sat next to her.

Lilly grinned. "That's what I was hoping for." She stated wagging her tail again. She backed up letting her tail whip at his face. "I knew you'd get it right." she said with a laugh. |
