Kenyan laughed hearing her words. "Hey, there good morning!" he yelled above the falls. He flipped up onto his feet and wagged his tail happy to see her up and around. "Thanks, and how do you feel today?" He questioned straining his neck to see her up on the rocks. His tounge hung from his mouth as he panted slightly and he yipped just for the fun of it. As a puppy he was shy and mature and never like to play with his siblings. As he grew up though he became more playful though was tough when he needed to be.

Again, Nicola couldn't help but laugh as Kenyan yipped for no reason, and she smiled when he asked how she was. He really seemed to care.... But she refused to let herself think that. "I feel... okay. Better than yesterday, by far." She thought for a moment, then backed up a few paces, and ran forward, crashing through the waterfall and to the water below. Yes!!! she thought, as the cold water swooshed past her. She bobbed to the surface, laughing as she swam to shore. "That was marevlous!"

Kenyan laughed too at her. "Yes I find it very enjoying. Like feeling free and nothing can stop you." He grinned happy she wasn't so tense now and having fun. He layed down again and rolled around in the grass.
A male appeared in the dinstance. He wasn't threatning and didn't intrude on the wolves but watched patiently. He had been traveling and was tired and thristy. He heard the falls awhile back and followed the sound. He stopped seeing the wolves and sat down where he was waiting to be seen. He knew not intrude on this land seeing the male and female he figured they were the alpha's and he'd have to wait for their permission.

Nicola laughed, as she crawled onto the shore, shaking herself out, drops of water splashing everywhere. She flopped down on the soft grass, to dry herself off in the morning sun. But a sound reached her ears-- the soft crackle of another wolf nearby, settling down on the ground. Instantly, she was tense; she didn't know who it was. Could it be Argo? She tried to calculate how fast he could run, and how far away his lands were. It was certainly possible that he'd come this far already. Her head snapped up, searching around. She saw the other male, and relief flooded her as she saw that she did not recognize the male. "Kenyan, there's someone else there. Do you see him?" she murmured, tilting her head in the direction of the newcomer.

Kenyan rolled up on his stomach as she spoke. He looked in the direction she was looking and then sat up seeing him. "Do you know him?" he asked seriously wondering if this was the male she was talking about.
The black male saw that they noticed him and he sat up, looking down at them. Lifting his head to the sky he howled a low howl to show he wasn't here to cause problems. He stood then wondered if he needed to run or if he'd be ok. He sighed waiting to see their reactions.

Nicola shook her head. "No, it's not Argo, I don't know him." She paused to listen to the new male's howl. "Should we invite him down here? He seems innocent enough." She looked at Kenyan, waiting for him to give the okay.

Kenyan nodded. He had no problem with other wolves around as long as they caused no problems. He howled back inviting the male down to meet them.
The male smiled hearing the other male's howl. He ran down the hill happily and slid to a stop in front of them. "I'm sorry to intrude. I was traveling and heard the falls and followed them here. I was so thirsty but I saw you two and didn't want to barge into your lands. I hope you don't mind." He sat down wagging his tail and kept his head lower than the other male's to show respect.

Nicola blushed, when the other male mentioned that he didn't want to intrude on their lands. "Oh, I'm not Alpha Female. I'm just staying here for a few days, or weeks. However long." She smiled at the male, the blush fading.

Kenyan smiled with a laugh and nodded comfirming her statment. "I have mate though im not sure where she's at." He relaxed seeing the male was good natured. "Help youself to the water."
The male grinned thankfully and headed to the lake taking a nice long drink. He sighed when he was done and licked his lips, shaking the water from his muzzle. He returned to the other two then with a happy smile his tail wagging forcefully. "I'm Doomed by the way." he added looking up to the male and then back to the female. He was attracted to her at first but didn't want to get ahead up himself. "Thanks alot."

"Nice to meet you," Nicola replied. "I'm Nicola." She smiled at him tentitively, looking at him from nose to tail. He was pretty cute, for being a little younger than her. But she pushed away the thoughts, as Argo entered her mind. She didn't want to compare them, but couldn't help it. Doomed was a lot smaller, though not at all small in the way of muscle. Argo's fur was a lot darker than Doomed's, and that made Nicola smile; she was sick of evil males.

Kenyan watched as the two interacted, thinking the female needed a friend. "Well you may stay as long as you like. But you'll have to escuse me for a little while." Kenyan watched Nicola's expression to see if she was ok with him leaving. He wouldn't go far and would still be in sight but he wanted to find Delilah. He trotted off through the grass he nose working trying to find her scent.
Doomed nodded as the male left. He layed down and looked to the female with soft eyes. "So why are you here if you're not alphess?" he asked slightly confused. He rolled to his side propped up enough for see her face as she talked.

Nicola, her self-preservation instincts trying to take over, wondered if she should tell the male. But she'd already told Kenyan, so why not tell Doomed? "I'm... kind of on the run," she explained, each word coming out slowly.

"Ahh, I see." he said watching her face closely. "I've been running too. Something tells me that it's more complicated for you though." He sighed and rolled back to his stomach streaching out with a yawn. He didn't want to pry into her life though. "It's really nice around here." he commented watching the waterfall.

Nicola, suddenly overcome by some urge to share her story, to get it off her chest to someone, let the words fall from her lips in a rush. "My ex-mate, Argo, he's chasing after me. He's.... abusive, and that's putting it lightly." Her right ear twitched reflexivly, remembering the time he'd ripped off a piece of her ear. "I couldn't take any more, so I ran. I'm sure he's following. I just hope he won't find me," she whispered, her voice pained.

Doomed's eye widened as she shared her story though rushed and quickly. "Oh." he said kinda in shock. "Well I'm sure you'll be fine here." he said hoping to calm her down a little. "That male, he looks nice and protective. And I'll help I guess." He felt bad for the female that she'd have to go through something like that. To be abused and beaten.
