Galadriel::
I watched Aragorn interact with Spike for a moment, but saw Spike start to leave. "Where are you going?" I asked, worried we had offended him. I was hoping we could be good friends, but if he wanted to leave, what did he want? Aragorn sat beside me and watched the male. He glanced at me and then Spike, then back at me. Then he laid down and watched us curiously. I had no idea what he was thinking, so I dismissed it. "You don't have to go, Spike...if you don't want to," I paused and looked at the ground. "Do you want to?" I asked softly.
Aragorn::
I watched my sister curiously as she spoke, feeling a little sorry that I had come right then, but glad nothing had happened. Maybe she couldn't see it, but I could tell this male had some kind of feelings for my sister. It made me a little weary of him, but I stayed quiet for now. Galadriel looked down and I sighed. "Why don't you stay a little longer...Spike..." I muttered, looking back at him. I wasn't going to let things get too serious here, but I wasn't going to watch my sister go all sad on me because he was leaving. Maybe she didn't realize it yet, but she was getting attatched.

SpikeOne light, that's all I am, Right now I can barely stand, If you're everything you say you are won't you come close and hold my heart Where are you going? She asked. My heart thudded. Yes. You don't have to go, Spike...if you don't want to, She added. Do you want to? It thudded faster. I turned to look at her, trying to arrange my face into a serene mask. "Well... I wasn't sure if you two wanted to be alone... what with the storm, and you guys are siblings. But if you don't want me to go... I mean I don't... really want to leave. Would you mind if I stayed? I mean at least until the storm goes away," I said. Did I just admit that I wanted to stay? As I stared into the eyes of this beautiful wolf, begging me not to leave, it was final. I was in love.
My eyes sparkled in the dim light glowing from my fur. I backed into the cave, out of the rain, but it still glowed. Darn coat. Giving away my emotions. Then I glanced at her brother, an apologetic emotion played swiftly across my face. Then I looked back to her. I stalked over to a corner of the cave, and curled up. I looked at them, trying to think of a conversation starter. I looked back out at the storm, noticing how dark the sky looked. Even in the darkness of the clouds, if it were still daytime, it shouldn't be that dark. Then I yawned. "Late, isn't it?" I said. Then I yawned again. I settled my head on my paws and looked up at them. Aragorn was laying across the cave from me, Galadriel still sitting at the mouth of the cave.

Galadriel::
Spike agreed to stay and a wide grin spread across my face in response. Aragorn eyed me with his eyes just slightly narrowed. I only glanced at him. My attention was on Spike for now. I was elated that this wasn't goodbye. He was really nice and I felt safe with him around. Safe, and oddly very comfortable. Like we were old friends. He curled up in the back of the cave. "Of course you can stay," I smiled warmly. Turning to gaze out at the storm, I shuddered. I returned to my brother's side. "Yeah, late..." I yawned, laying my head on my paws.
Aragorn::
Galadriel laid down near me, but was angled so she could easily see Spike. I rolled my eyes, but turned my head so neither of them could see. Instead, I pretended to look around the cave. But curiosity won me over and I turned back to eye the male wolf, speculating. I knew nothing about him; nothing, that is, except he obviously felt something for my clueless sister. Though we came from the same litter, Galadriel obviously seemed younger than me, and anyone could believe she was. Her childish desires and attitude might be charming and amusing to some, but I knew it could get her into trouble. And I saw Spike as trouble. Sure, he could be perfectly fine, but why was he here of all places? I could smell it; this was not a place I wanted my sister to be anywhere near. I knew what it was even if she didn't.

Spike:.
I looked at them, wondering idly how such a bond could occur between siblings like that. I found it fascinating. Me and my brother never associated like that. Nor my two sisters. Then again, I never see them, and I don't even know if they're still alive. She moved to lay next to her brother, angled so that we were still within each others view. I felt a small, delighted smile spread across my mouth. My eyelids drooped some, then fluttered closed. I slept a dreamless sleep through the night, waking up every now and then due to the storm, and staring starry eyed at the sleeping beauty across the cave from me. I sighed deeply and then went back to sleep.
In the morning it was a peaceful time. The storm had gone, and the birds were chirping a happy, up beat tune. I yawned and then opened my heavy eyes to see Galadriel sleeping soundly across the small space of the cave. I laid there for a few minutes just watching her. Then I got up to fetch breakfast. I ran with as much speed as I was capable, wanting strangely to be back to them. Or should I say, Galadriel. I found a small rabbit hole, and grabbed three easily. Then sprinted back to the siblings, all three dangling from my jaw.
I trotted in, happy with my catch. I laid the other two rabbits softly in the front corner of the cave, ready for when they wake up. I laid down with mine, easily second biggest, and started to dine. It tasted so good. I focused my fire on the my front paw, and let it light. I touched the rabbit lightly on key spots, cooking it through in seconds. Yum. The smell of rabbit meat filled the cave. That was my attempt to wake them up.

Aragorn::
I could tell when Galadriel was asleep, because her breathing was deeper and she twitched lightly every now and then. Spike had drifted off. I laid my head on my paws with a heavy sigh. Could I trust him enough to sleep? I looked at my sister, a smile playing on her features despite her heavy slumber. She was out. I wrestled with the idea for a while, I don't know how long. But the next thing I knew, a crack of lighting stirred me from my sleep. I turned to look at Spike, who was still sleeping. He could have waken sometime in the night, but Galadriel hadn't moved. I looked back at Spike, but he was starting to wake. I closed my eyes, and listened. He didn't seem to move, so I concentrated on breathing evenly. Soon he was asleep again. I watched him with squinted eyes every time he woke after that. Each time, he stared at my sister. I was glaring inside. Finally I fell asleep again. It was a while before I awoke to the smell of rabbit, cooked rabbit.
Galadriel::
Throughout the night, I slept soundly. Dreaming of my brother, and of Spike. The dreams were simple. Just the three of us walking around in a field, the sun shining and all of us smiling. We chattered about random things. The smell of rabbit woke me just as Spike had decided to talk to me alone in the dream. I woke with a start, eyes peeling open quickly. "Mmm..." I mumbled, taking in the smell. Aragorn did that too, cooking his meals. I smiled at that. There were two rabbits on the ground, and I took one gently, eating it neatly enough to keep my white coat clean. "Thank you, Spike," I smiled, enjoying the meal.

I let my flames die out when I saw her wake. Her eyes flew open when I cooked the rabbit through. I smiled at her. She slowly dragged over to get a rabbit for herself and then went back to her spot and delicately started to peel small pieces of meat off of the bones. I smiled at her. She thanked me for my trip, and I nodded to her. Then I smiled at Aragorn. I looked at my cooked rabbit, and bit into it. The blood, even though the rabbit was cooked, filled my mouth as my teeth easily sliced the thin skin and fur. I closed my eyes and let instinct take over. I bit the neck, rupturing the main vessel. Then I started to peel meat off of the rabbit easily. Yum.

Spike smiled and I shot him and answering grin. The rabbit was delicious. Whenever some of the blood got on my pure fur, I licked it off quickly so it wouldn't stain. Aragorn watched, trying not to smile. I could tell he was grinning inside; probably laughing, too. I eyed him meaningfully and his mouth opened wide to expose his teeth. But he was smiling, and I didn't feel threatened. I was completely at ease. Aragorn ate his rabbit silently. I noticed when Spike smiled at my brother. His mouth twitched in a small smile, a thankful smile. He nodded to my new friend and finished off his rabbit. "This is really good. Aragorn likes to cook his food, too." I smiled and finished mine off. I hoped they would be friends too. They already had one thing in common. But Aragorn didn't trust many wolves.

I smiled at Galadriel when she mentioned Aragorn liking to cook his food. I nodded my head. She was obviously happy that he and I got along. She ate her rabbit delicately, obviously not wanting to stain her beautiful coat. A felt a bright orange stripe light up down my spine. I got up, not wanting her to see it. "Um, I'll be just a minute. Don't wait up," I back out of the cave. I ran around for a minute, trying to shake it off. After I felt the heat leave, I wandered back in to finish my rabbit. "Sorry, I was just feeling a little bit... claustrophobic," I stuttered. I laid back down beside my rabbit, and started gnawing on a leg. I finished it up and started licking my paws, but then decided it would be easier to just burn off the blood. I focused the heat on my paws and let it seep through; my paws flaming in result.

Watching Aragorn, I almost didn't notice when Spike stood to leave. But the smells stirred around us and I glanced over to see him leaving the cave. His words met my ears, but I was still a bit concerned. As he left, Aragorn stretched and flashed his fire. Getting comfortable, I assumed. He focused his heat on his paws and crisped another bit of rabbit. Then he swallowed the animal. Oddly, I felt bad for the creature. I never had thought of it before, but what if it had family, like a brother or sister, mom or dad? Or friends, like Spike? My thoughts left the rabbit and focused on Spike. Aragorn would have growled if he heard my thoughts. He'd say I was much too young to even think of this. I would have said I was as old as him. He would have retaliated with 'but who's more mature?' I would have given in, because in all honesty, I enjoyed staying young, having fun.
But my thoughts were quite erratic, not staying on just one, but running through possibilities like a marathon. What if we were more serious? What I grew up enough to settle down with someone? What if it was Spike? What would I feel like if we were just friends? More depressing thoughts came then. What if he didn't think of me as someone he'd be interested in? What if I couldn't be serious enough to be someone's mate? What if Spike rejected me?
Spike came in, tearing me from my thoughts. Probably a good thing, too, because I wasn't smiling anymore. Spike finished off his rabbit, and then focused the heat to his paws and the ignited. I jumped a little, only because I was still dazed. But I mostly just ignored the heat that was filling our little cave.

After my white coat was pure of all blood, I sat down and looked between the two of them. The summer sun was reaching our cave and it was starting to become like a microwave in here. I started to pant. Even though I was a fire wolf, and I can set my entire body on fire for hours at a time, the heat from the sun was beginning to be too much. "Who wants to try and find pond with me?" I said, still panting. I glanced out of the cave and squinted my sensitive eyes at the sun reflecting from the rock floor. I glanced quickly at Galadriel, hoping she would volunteer. Then at Aragorn, hoping he would stay here. It was weird feeling this way about a wolf; about Galadriel. I'd never fallen in love before. I'd never even had feelings for another wolf before. I liked it. It made me happy. It gave me a feeling inside whenever I saw her, or heard her voice that was untouchable. Unmatchable. Incredible. It made me want to get up and dance. It made me want to sing at the top of my lungs. It made me want to smile for the rest of my life. But it also had a downside. The only thing I felt when I wasn't near her was sadness, and longing to be with her. I wanted to see her face. Hear her voice. Look into those beautiful eyes one more time. I still awaited their answers while thinking about all this stuff. It raced through my mind at unmatchable speeds. If I told her that I loved her, what would Aragorn say? Even though I trusted him, did he trust me enough to ask his sister to be my mate?

The heat of the flames coming from my brother and from Spike, matched with that of summer, the endless sun outside...it made the inside of our cave quite hot. The rocky floor that was covered in a black blanket of shade was very cool to the touch, so I stayed in the shade, lying down so my stomach was cool. Spike cleaned the blood from his white fur and then looked outside. "A pond?" I asked, thinking of the water and how much cooler that would be. I smiled and nodded. "Me," I offered. I glanced at Aragorn, a suggestive look in my eyes. He looked at me and then at Spike. Then at me again. "It's not raining anymore...I guess you can go. But I would much rather sit here in the sun." He looked worried about letting us go. Did he know?
I stood. "You're missing out," was all I said. I didn't argue the subject more, because I didn't really want him to go. He was overprotective, and he would probably just sit and watch us swim. I bounded out of the cave, and then turned on my heels to wait for Spike.
