I moved swiftly around the trees, making sure not to hit anything. My feet heard the ground as I entwined with the trees, moving this way and that. The soft spongy ground felt good as compared to the hot summer sand that I came from. I felt the moist, thick foggy air rush past my face. I heard the loud birds calling from the tall trees, but that didn't bother me. There was green on all sides of my face. It was like a different planet than the one I was on in the desert. I could still feel the dry, hot air that blew through the desert though... It was only better for the damp, dark, shady feel of the forest. Pine needles fell on the ground. Cones surrounded me. It felt good. Back to my roots. I was born in the woods, raised in the woods, and felt good in the woods. I am a rocky mountain wolf, which the mounts are mostly woods. So as I fell through the woods, I felt my strength gathering and multiplying. Animals called and ran through my paths, but I continued to run through. I reached a point and stopped to rest. I dug a little, worked up some loose dirt, and laid down. The cool dirt felt so good on my pelt. My eyes fluttered some... they got heavy... soon I was out. My mind went black and I was asleep.

Quim licked her lips happily, the fresh blood from her latest kill staining her maw a pinky red. She stepped carefully, keeping her dainty paws from tripping on a root or rock. Her tail was set high on her docks, pointing up towards the clouded sky. Her golden brown wings were held loosely against her sides, the primary feathers just skimming the ground.
She been walking for about half an hour when she picked up the scent. It was male and unfamiliar. Her special mind set quickly came in, keeping her cautious but inquisitive. She followed it closely as it aimlessly wound through the trees.
Finally she found him. A black male sleeping sound on the cold floor. She smiled and took a seat a few meters away, far enough that he couldn’t jump and grab her before she could fly away. “Atrapado en mi mundo mágico, trágico que siempre confundo y que hay mucho tráfico…” she began to sing quietly in her beautiful voice. This song was one of her favourites. Her mother would sing it too her when she was just a pup to lull her to sleep on one of those many restless nights.

Calm and swift, Asleep and adrift.
Though asleep, my senses are still wired. I can hear something coming, but it doesn't bother me much. A soft wind blows her scent to me. I breathe in deep. I don't know the scent. She comes and then stops briefly. Then moves to sit down. Cautious, but most likely not dangerous. I like that kind. So I open my optics and take in her beauty.
She is marvelous. Her golden wings folded softly at her sides. I have never seen anything like her. Grey wrapped tightly around her, with dashes of red and orange. Eyes accompanying her colors. She was gorgeous. I got up slowly, and looked her in the eyes. My voice choked for a moment at her looks. "Hello. My name is Hale. I'm sorry to have been found in this state. I have been traveling for a while." I said.
It was true. Coming from the desert-like states I have, it's no wonder I have slept. I don't know how long, but judging by how refreshed I feel, I'm guessing a while. I sat down and waited for her to reply. I have never seen anything like her. She truly is a looker. I look down and then back at her. It's kind of embarrassing to be found in that state. Not on edge and alert.
