Quigs sat down in the lushish green grass that surrounded this beautiful place. Lifting his muzzle to the sky he offered a long but happy howl. His tail wagged just slightly as he turned his head around taking in the beautiful scene around his. He hadn't seen his mate, Candice, around for awhile but knew she had to be close by. Lowering his body to the ground, he sighed and closed his eyes to take a little nap. The sun beat down on his thick black coat and he grinned in his light sleep thinking of his life past and present. It definately was better now even with the war surrounding him, he felt largely safe in this cozy land where he was largely accepted by the original pack who had now either passed away or moved on. |

Flame wondered through the land, oblivious to everything. Until that is, she saw the male. Oh, a male... This could be interesting, and he's alone... She thought. Flame wondered over to him and tilted her head and spoke "hello."

As the large male lay there he tilted his head at a quiet voice. Looking up, he noticed the female and beat his tail on the ground with a large grin. "Hello." he replied slightly confused on why she was here. "What brings you into my lands?" |

"Just wondering around." she said and looked at him with her dark eyes. "If it is a problem then i shall leave."

Quig stood up then to his large full size. "You should be careful, not all wolves are pleasent to be around." He took a few steps forward looking her up and down. "You may stay for now, only for a while though." |

"Because I am not one to just let any random wolf join my pack." She turned then and trotted off into the distance back to the stream and waterfall. In the back of his mind he wondered if she'd follow. Taking a lonk drink, he lay down with his front paws drooped into the cool water. |

She smiled and trotted down to him, "Well, i can understand why." she said and then jumped into the cool water

Quig rolled his eyes at the young female watching asshe jumped into the water. He turned his back to her and closed his eyes fighting back tears. Sighing he curled up, his tail over his nose trying to ignore the female who he didn't even know. |

He didn't even look at the female. "I'm just fine." he answered bluntly not even blinking. |

No he's not, he just wont tell me she thought to herself and climbed up onto the bank beside him and laid down.

When the female came and laued beside him, a low growl escaped his lips. Why did this strange female think it was ok to come and lay with the alpha of the land. It confused him, and he didn't know whether to attack her or ignore her. He just didn't have the energy. |

She turned and to leave the land sensing his uneasiness, She started to walk from the land. I'll find somewhere else then
