Nikita Trotted through the land silently. The only sound was the birds chirping and the sound of the wind through her thick fur. It was warm and she raised her head into the wind and closed her eyes, taking in the smells and feel of the forest.

Walking very slowly down a worn out path through the darkened woods, Deigo couldn't help but sigh. Life was growing pretty dull, like the lull before a huge storm. He wondered idly what black, bleak storm was hovering on the horizon, like a menacing beast, waiting to strike.
It was during this thought that a twig snapped in the woods around him, and he was instantaniously more alert, ready for a fight if it was coming, or ready to be friendly if the creature around him allowed him to be.
He could already feel the heat creeping down his spine, just begging to change. He suppressed it, not knowing if the creature nearby was friend or foe.
"Who's there?" he called out in a low voice that was as curious as demanding. |

"relax, i'm a friend. Another wolf." She spoke walking so that she was in front of him and then carefully approaching him. She laid down on her side showing submission. She knew she could not take on a wolf as big as him.

After watching the female walk over and show submission, Deigo decided that she was no threat, and relaxed his tense stance, the heat fading from his back. "Please, don't do that. I'm hardly one you should show respect." He laughed at the thought. Him? Be shown respect? Funny. |

Know I'm never gonna be the one that that tries...I felt the ground shiver as the thunder cracked overhead. Small raindrops hit my coat. I heard it crack again but it was much closer. I scattered a little faster. Then I heard them. They were speaking to each other. She rolled. Submitting? Fighting? I wandered closer. They were speaking. He mentioned submission. Okay, well that cleared one thing up. I could smell them. I put one paw closer. Then the other. I pushed my nose through the bushes and smelled them. Then I moved my whole frame out.
I looked at either one. "Hello. My name is Devon." A small maniacal grin stole my poker face. I moved towards the middle, moving somewhat sideways, keeping my eyes on both. I know wolves. One look is all it takes to have both of them on me. The ground shuddered with another boom of thunder. Lightning cracked the sky like broken glass. A roll of thunder following the loud smack sound made a puddle splash with movement. It reminded me of the time I felt the large beast like things, (now extinct) running towards us in battle. I waited for a reply from the motionless wolves. |

Know I'm never gonna be the one that that tries...The female moved to look at me. I froze and moved closer to the ground. "Who are you and what dare i ask, do you want?" "Calm down lovey. No reason to be on edge. Just looking for a little fun." I remembered the last time I'd used the word fun. It was in the forcers lairs a long time ago. I was younger. More naive. I was looking for someone to mate. But the only thing around was Kodiak. He is an older wolf, more experienced.
"Who are you?" He said to me. "Well if you must know, I am Devon. I was looking for food." Of course I was lying. I was looking for a mate. But as if I was going to tell him that! ''What's going on here then?'' Lup. My greatest (and deceased) rival. My scar throbbed just to think of him. "Ah. Another bloke. Ello mate. What be your name?" I'd asked. He tightened his muscles. I'd bared my teeth and placed my feet in position to strike. "This should be fun." I'd said. Then it happened. The jumping, and biting, shoving. Lupercus made rude remarks and then thrashed me. I don't remember much, just thumps. I was blinded. Then I heard Francesca's voice. "What are you doing Lup?!" She yelled. I heard barking and snarling. Then I woke up. I could see again.
I came back from my flash and they were staring at me. I bared my teeth a little. "What are you looking at?!"

Know I'm never gonna be the one that that tries...I raised an eyebrow at her. Then shook my head. "Oh calm down sheila. There's really no need to get you fur in a knot. I just wanted someone to talk to." So I looked at the brute. I stood to my feet. "So who exactly would want to protect you, tiny dancer?" I walked a little bit closer to her and focused not much on the brute, but still enough to know if he were to try something. It confused me much as to why she would be here alone, if there were wolves that were her muscle. I smirked a little. Was she lying? "Do you know... exactly... how fast they were to be here if you called?" I took another step towards her and took a deep breath. It had been a while since I felt a female's warmth. I nuzzled her neck. Her blood pumped faster with fear and aggravation. I snickered. So I took a step back.

A low growl formed deep in her throat, she let a low howl escape her lips. Then a statement to the intruding wolf. "My friend will be here any second, I have warned him not to attack unless i order him to. He will not attack unless i say so, or unless you give him a reason to attack."
Just then Josh came in to the forest and stood firmly beside Niki.

They never loosen up and have fun... I lifted my head some. "Who are you?" I asked the newcomer. I don't think I've seen this one before. I sniffed him. Nope. Definitely never seen him. Or smelled. So I thingyed my head at him. Hm. Interesting. "You're new. Never met you..." I shook out my fur. It had been a while since I'd slept. I felt it catching up with me. I really needed it. [OCC: sorry it's so short... have people over right now. Might add later]

"Not new, Just prefer to stay away from others, sept my Sis here." He spoke to the new wolf. "I can see I'm not really needed here now, so i think i'm going to go lay down, Call if you need anything.." He spoke and backed up keeping his eyes on the male, He
lied down and closed his eyes still alert.
She looked at him and sat down, clearly no need for alarm. especially with her brother right there.

Know I'm never gonna be the one that that tries...I tilted my head at this odd couple. A brother and sister? Staying together? I've never seen such a thing. When I got old enough, I ran from my siblings. All of them were either black with red eyes, or brown with red eyes. They saw me and started to mock me. They knew I was much different than them. I was the only one with green eyes. And I was the only white one. Not even my parents were white. So then the other male started to walk away. "What is your name son?" I asked him before he was out of view. I took a step after him. I would want to know his name if ever I should see him again. Just then I felt footsteps coming towards us. Then the wind blew and I smelled him. I froze in place. I turned towards the direction that the male was coming. My ears pinned back and I took a battle stance. I lifted my lips to expose my blood stained teeth. Then I saw him. A black figure with his head to the ground, swiftly trotting towards us. He looked up and then I saw them. Bright red eyes shooting daggers at me. My jaw dropped and I crouched, ready to spring the moment he was within range. A blast from the past. "Everyone remain calm. This is not your fight. This is my fight. This is my brother."

(Josh) “Looks as if there is no time for introductions..” I stood and went to my sister’s side, between the newest wolf and the acquaintance. No way in the world I was going to let her get hurt. Never again. Preparing to help if needed I was in battle mode. Head lowered teeth bared back hunched. At any moment I could spring and stop an attack on one of the wolves. Particularly my sister. I looked over at the least new wolf going off his commands, it was strange but somehow I trusted him.. Unexplainable, yes, but true none the less.
{Niki) There is no way this is happening! I thought to myself. Oh boy. Three males and one female, I only fully trusted one, my brother. I had a terrible feeling about the other newer wolf that had just come to our little group. He can’t be trusted. I prepared for the worst to come just as my brother, mimicking his posture.
