Quigs listened carefully, and a relieved whine came from his lips. "Well I did think it was me. I couldn't think of anything else wrong but that it had something to do with me." He nuzzled her back and licked her face tenderly. "Of course, I want you back here with me. I love you more than anything." He stood and wagged his tail vigoriously, walking to stand over her, licking her all over. "I wouldn't have it any other way, than to keep you here with me. Right where you belong." He grinned sitting there and watched her. This overwhelming feeling to love on her, to be with her and never let her out of his sight. This incident would only make him more protective now, but he wanted to be sure no one got their paws on his Candice. His one and only love. |

Candice smiled some, a little more relieved. He wanted her. "I will always love you, Quigley. You're my only love, forever." She licked him back, love filling her eyes. She snuggled close to him, never wanting to leave his side ever again. And she wouldn't. Quigley, aside from her daughter and Kenyan, he was her life. His fur blended into hers, black and white, complete opposites, yet they were one. They had dedicated themselves to each other long ago, and it would last forever. She would lay her life down for him. He was everything.

( I know the feeling) Quigs grinned and nuzzled close to her body. His mind was on overload, swimming with everything and anything he could think of. She had just gone, but now she was back and she still loved him and he knew he still loved her. A love that would last forever, last until they were old and unable to do anything anymore. Last long past the day they would die. He grinned and licked her cheek tenderly, his tail still wagging and breathed a sigh of relief. "I won't ever leave you again. I'll do anything you ask to keep you happy." |

Candice sighed, feeling him snuggle closer and wishing there was some way to be closer than that. She just wanted him to accept her, and he had. He loved her still, and she loved him. That's all they needed, all they wanted. Love lasts a lifetime. True love, anyway. Quigley licked her cheek and she rubbed her face against his lovingly. He was all she ever wanted. All she ever needed and more. I won't ever leave you again. I'll do anything you ask to keep you happy. Candice moved back to look him in the eyes. "Quig, all I need to be happy is you. I need you. You said you love me and that's all I want." She laid he head down on his paws and smiled.
