I trotted around in circles, snorting and snuffing in frustration. Why was no one here? I was expecting mares galore. I tossed my tail from side to side, stomping and snuffing and snorting. I tossed my mane around and flicked my tail. The bugs weren't helping. I reared on my hind legs and let out a loud, long whinny. I landed with a loud thump and tossed my mane. I reared again and kicked my front legs. I snorted and snuffed. I was mad. Very mad. I landed again, this time making a dust cloud as I rolled onto my side, thrashing and kicking as I tossed and turned on the ground. I got back up, and shook out my coat, getting all the dirt off. I flicked my tail on my back, flinging the dust off, and revealing my shining, glistening, dark golden coat. I peered around, spotting a large, deep looking pond. I slowly walked over to the pond and started in, front legs first. I hopped once, landing in the water, knee deep, with a large splash.

The water was gorgeous. It was warm, it was clear, and it felt glorious. I took a few more steps and was in neck deep. I swam around for a few minutes but then got out. I shook out my soaking coat, watching the shine afterward.
