[Lexi]

"If you stay, I guess." He grinned and lept off the tree at her. "What do ya say?" He laughed and trotted off with a smile stuck on his face.

[Soul]

She trotted after him, play tackling him, pinning him to the ground. She laughed, and jumped away. "I might..... I'm not sure...." She laughed again.

[Lexi]

Doomed grinned and jumped back to his feet and slaped a paw at her growling playfully. "No hurry to make up you mind." he said running after her. He jumped over her landing on her other side and bowed, slapping the ground.

[Soul]

Nicola let a playful growl come between her teeth, and she smiled, leaning forward with her butt stuck up in the air, playful. "Bring it on, tough guy," she taunted, laughing again, her tail wagging furiously.

[Lexi]

He pounced for her and layed over her fitting his mouth around her neck growling. He then jumped up, smacking at her and nipping for her ear, laughing. "Don't taunt me little lady."

[Soul]

"Who are you calling 'Little Lady', mister?" she asked, growling playfully and nipping at him. "And I can taunt you all I want. So ha." She giggled, jumping at him, nipping at him once, then springing lightly away.

[Lexi]

He stopped and sat down facing her. "I knew you had another side to you." he said smiling. He sprung up and lept for her grinning with his mouth open.

[Soul]

Nicola laughed, though she was so pleased that she was actually being sunny and friendly. "Yeah, well... Years of living with Argo took their toll on me. I'm never like this. Be pleased that you're seeing my good side." She dashed away a few feet as he came toward her, and then rolled on her stomach, rolling in the dirty grass.

[Lexi]

He layed on top of her chewing at her ear. "I kinda hope you stay this way."

Nicola couldn't stop the blush that came across her face, and although her thick black fur covered it, she was sure that he could hear the sound of her heartbeat accelerating. "Well, I hope so, too. I'll definately try, since you seem to like me this way." She grinned, licking his nose.

[Lexi]

He laughed and gave her a big smile, returning the soft lick on her think black fur. "Life can be good." This advice he had heard himself before and it really did seem to help him. Jumping to his feet, he trotted off deeper into the woods and came across a shallow stream. Trouncing through it, he laied down in the cool water and let it sink into his coat, lapping up mouthfuls as he relaxed.

She smiled, getting up to follow him. Her paws still ached slightly, and they cracked and bled as she put her weight on them, but she ignored the uncomfortable feeling, laying down in the soft grass beside the stream, watching Doomed with careful eyes. She was hesitant to let herself feel anything, but at the same time, she could not deny the feelings in her heart.

Doomed smiled and watched as she watched him. He sighed and saw a certain look on her face. Then he saw her cracked bleeding paws and got up walking out of the water. "Look at your feet." he said laying down next to her. "You could have told me, we fifn't have to walk all this way." He looked her paws over and felt bad that he made her walk so far on them, knowing they had to hurt.

[Soul]

She shrugged lightly, cringing a little when a blade of grass tickled a cut on her paws. "S'not so bad. I can deal with it, if it means I get to be out here with you." She smiled.

[Lexi]

He grinned. "Just so you're ok. We can go back you know." he said tilted his head at her. "I don't want you in pain." He sighed and layed his head over her side, looking at her with puppy dog eyes.
