I wondered through the lands, thinking idly about my pitiful, and sorry life. I heard the crunching of leaves under my feet, the tweeting of the birds that sat up in the trees, calling to the opposite sex to find a mate. If only it were that easy. That gave me a thought. I wandered over to a small boulder, perched myself on it, and lifted my head. A loud, deep, and echoing howl bubbled up my throat, and tore through my teeth. I sat there for a few seconds, just calling. When that one was done, I let out another one. All the animals stopped and stared at me, eyes wide with terror. I sighed when that howl was done, and climbed down off the rock to wait. Maybe it would work, maybe not. Even though, I started to wonder again, looking for a female that wanted to get some action.
